Abstract
Abstract A LENGTH OF FLEXIBLE HOSE CONNECTED TO A SOURCE OF CLEANING FLUID IS COILED ON A ROTATABLE REEL AND HAS A DISCHARGE NOZZLE ON ITS FREE END ADAPTED TO BE LOACTED WITHIN AND ADVANCED UPSTREAM ALONG AN UNDERGROUND CONDUIT. A METERING ROLLER AND INDICATOR ASEMBLY CARRIED BY A PIVOTED LEVER MECHANISM RESTS ON THE TOP OF THE COILED HOSE SO THAT REEL ROTATION DRIVES THE ROLLER TO OPERATE THE INDICATOR. THE INDICATOR IS RESETTABLE TO RENDER ITS READING INDEPENDENT OF THE VERTICAL DISTANCE TO THE CONDIUT. THIS INFORMS THE OPERATOR AS TO THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE NOZZLE WITHIN THE CONDUIT AND THE EXACT LENGTH OF CONDUIT THAT HAS BEEN CLEANED.
