Abstract A TRACK SHOE CONSTRUCTION HAVING CLEATS REMOVABLY SECURED TO THE SHOE SOLE. THE CLEATS EACH COMPRISE A SUPPORTING BODY WHICH MAY HAVE VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS AND WHICH HAS BRISTLES ATTACHED TO THE BODY AND EXTENDING DOWNWARDLY NORMAL TO THE BOTTOM SURFACE OF THE SHOE FOR ENGAGEMENT WITH A TRACK SURFACE.
