Abstract NICKEL CHELATE COMPLEXES OF SYN-ALKYL 2-HYDROXYARYL KETOXIMES IN WHICH THE ALKYL GROUP CONTAINS AT LEAST 6 CARBON ATOMS ARE USED AS LIGHT STABILISERS FOR POLYMERS, ESPECIALLY POLYOLEFINS. THE CHELATE COMPLEXES ARE PREPARED FROM THE SYN-ALKYL 2-HYDROXYARYL, KETOXIMES BY REACTING WITH A SOLUTION OF A NICKEL SALT.
