Abstract ADHESIVE DIPS CONTAINING TRIS(DIHYDROXYBENZYL) PHENOL ARE USED TO BOND TEXILE CORDS TO RUBBER. THE ADHESIVE DIPS ARE USEFUL FOR THE BONDING OF NYLON, RAYON, AND THE EXPECIALLY DIFFICULT TO BOND POLYESTER TIRE CORDS TO RUBBER, GIVING EXCELLENT ADHESIVE PROPERTIES.
