Abstract ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COPOLYMERS ARE PREPARED BY THE PARTIAL HYDROLYSIS AND CONDENSATION OF A SILANOL CHAINSTOPPED POLYDIORGANOSILOXANE, AN AMINOALKYLTRIALKOXYSILANE, AND AN AMINOALKOXYALKYLTRIALKOXYSILANE. THESE COPOLYMERS ARE CONVERTED TO PARTIAL SALTS BY REACTION WITH WITH ALIPHATIC CARBOXYLIC ACIDS AND THE PARTIAL SALTS ARE USED IN DETERGENT RESISTANT POLISH FORMULATIONS OF IMPROVED RUB-OUT AND GLOSS.
