Abstract CARBON MONOXIDE IS REMOVED FROM NITROGEN, AMMONIA SYNTHESIS GAS, AIR, AUTOMOBILE EXHAUSTS AND OTHER GASES BY A MIXTURE OF COPPER-CHROMIUM IMPREGNATED ON A SUPPORT OF HIGH SURFACE AREA, PREFERABLY ACTIVATED CARBON. COPPER-CHROMIUM-SILVER IMPREGNATED SUPPORTS ALSO CAN BE USED. THE IMPREGNATED SUPPORTS ALSO CAN BE USED TO REMOVE NITRIC OXIDE FROM OTHER GASES.
