Abstract
Abstract A direct current motor having a coil moving in a magnetic field to provide reciprocating motion and a circuit for controlling the flow of current through the coil, including a transistor connected in series with the coil and a DC source. A capacitor whose state of charge varies as a function of the back e.m.f. generated by the coil is connected for controlling the conductivity state of the transistor as a function of the capacitor''s state of charge.
