Abstract LIQUID HYDROCARBON OIL COMPOSITIONS ARE PROVIDED WHICH CONTAIN SMALL AMOUNTS, SUFFICIENT TO IMPROVE THEIR FLUIDITY CHARACTERISTICS, OF ESTERS OF STYRENE-MALEIC ANHYDRIDE COPOLYMERS HAVING AT LEAST 20 CARBON ATOM SIN THE ALKYL PORTION. A METHOD FOR PREPARING THESE ESTERS IS ALSO PROVIDED.
