Abstract SYNTHETIC FIBERS ARE BONDED TOGETHER THROUGH TREATMENT WITH A MULTICOMPONENT LIQUID UPON INITIAL CONTACT WITH THE FIBERS IS A NON-SOLVENT THEREFOR BUT WHICH UPON EVAPORATION OF ONE OF THE COMPONENT BECOMES A FIBER SOLVENT.
