Abstract IN THE ILLUSTRATED EMBODIMENTS PRECIOUS METAL PLATING IS CARRIED OUT BY A LOOP SERIES OF TANKS ON A TABLE, SMALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS BEING AUTOMATICALLY INDIVIDUALLY PARTIALLY IMMERSED SO AS TO PLATE PREDETERMINED PORTIONS OF THE COMPONENTS. MULTIPLE PARTS MAY BE TREATED BY QUICK DISCONNECT FIXTURES WITH PRECISE LOCATING SURFACES. THE ENTIRE MACHINE MAY BE SOLD AS A COMPLETE PACKAGE REQUIRING A MINIMUM OF SITE PREPARATION. THE SAME MACHINE MAY BE ADAPTED TO BARREL PLATING OPERATION.
