Abstract A SELF-STABILIZING COOLING SYSTEM FOR AIR COMPRESSORS EMBODYING EVAPORATIVE COOLING, AND IN WHICH MEANS ARE PROVIDED FOR AUTOMATICALLY OBTAINING CONDENSED WATER VAPOR FROM THE ATMOSPHERE IN REQUIRED AMOUNTS FOR COOLING PURPOSES, MEANS ALSO BEING PROVIDED FOR RECIRCULATING THE COOLANT IN THE SYSTEM AND FOR INJECTING THE SAME INTO THE LOW PRESSURE INLET.
