Abstract AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR ENGAGING WITH THE EDGE OF A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, TAB OR THE LIKE IS MADE FROM ONE SHEET OF METAL BY BENDING UP A SPRING PORTION WHICH IS AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THE PLANE OF THE CONNECTOR AND IS CURVED IN THE DIRECTION OF INSERTION OF THE BOARD. A SUPPORT PART OF THE CONNECTOR IS ALSO FORMED FROM THE ONE PIECE OF SHEET METAL AND ENGAGES THE NONCONDUCTIVE SURFACE OF THE BOARD.
