Abstract
Abstract TWO LOOPS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE TESTING OF THE R.F. AMPLIFIER, ONE THROUGH VARIABLE FORE AND AFT GANGED ATTENUATORS AND THE AMPLIFIERS TO ONE SIDE OF A RATIO OF DIFFERENCE METER, AND ANOTHER LOOP THROUGHT THE ATTENUATORS, AN ISOLATOR AND ANOTHER SIDE OF THE RATIO METER. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED ALTERNATELY BY A PAIR OF SWITCHING DEVICES AND A COUPLER. IN THIS WAY THE METER READING WILL NOT BE SUBJECTED TO ANY ERRORS PRESENTED BY THE ATTENUATORS.
