Abstract A REINFORCEMENT FORM WHEREIN MAJOR REINFORCEMENT FIBERS ARE ARRANGED IN A GENERAL SINE WAVE DISPOSITION EXTENDING LONGITUDINALLY AND HAVING OVERLAPPING AMPLITUDES AND UNIFORM PERIODS. WALE FIBERS EXTEND PARALLEL TO THE DIRECTION OF THE MAJOR FIBERS AND TIE FIBERS ARE PROVIDED TO FORM A TAPE WHICH CAN BE UTILIZED TO CONSTRUCT IMPROVED STRUCTURAL COMPOSITES AND ABLATIVE STRUCTURES.
