Abstract A POWER TRANSMISSION BELT WITH LATERALLY SPACED BELT BODIES WHICH ARE INTERCONNECTED AT THEIR RADIALLY OUTER SURFACES BY MEANS OF A BAND. THE BAND IS MADE OF ONE OR MORE LAYERS OF FABRIC EMBEDDED IN AN ELASTOMER, THE THREADS OF THE FABRIC BEING DIAGONAL TO THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE BELT.
