Abstract A RUBBER SHEET PERFORMED INTO A CONVEX SHAPE IS USED AS THE CENTER PORTION OF AN AIR CLEANER COVER. THE SHEET DUCTS AIR FROM THE FILTER ELEMENT TO THE CARBURETOR INTAKE AND RETAINS ITS SHAPE UNDER ENGINE VACUUM TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE CARBURETOR BUT DEFLECTS UPON ANY CONTACT WITH THE VEHICLE HOOD.
