Abstract THIS DISCLOSURE RELATES TO THE MOUNTING AND DRIVING OF A ROLL WHICH IS SUBJECT OF HIGH PRESSURES. THE ROLL IS ROTATABLY MOUNTED ON A FIXED SHAFT WHICH, IN TURN, IS SUPPORTED BY A TRIPLE RACE BEARING WITH THE INTERMEDIATE RACE THEREOF FORMING A DRIVE COUPLING BETWEEN THE ROLL AND A DRIVE MEMBER. THE TRIPLE RACE BERING MOUNTS THE SHAFT FOR LIMITED FLEXING UNDER PRESSURE.
