Abstract A CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING FLAT CABLES TO PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS IS SHOWN. THE INSULATION AT THE END OF THE CABLE IS REMOVED AND THE CABLE IS CLAMPED TO A BASE WHICH CARRIES MATCHING CONDUCTORS THEREON WHEREBY CONNECTIONS ARE MADE DIRECTLY BETWEEN THE CONDUCTORS ON THE BASE AND THE CONDUCTORS IN THE CABLE.
