Abstract A TUNNEL DIODE MONOSTABLE CIRCUIT HAVING IMPROVED TRIGGER SENSITIVITY WHICH IS ACHIEVED BY BIASING A NONLINEAR LOAD. THE KEY ELEMENT IN THE LOAD IS A HOT CARRIER DIODE WHICH IS FORWARD BIASED JUST BELOW THE KNEE OF ITS CHARACTERISTIC WHEN THE CIRCUIT IS IN ITS QUIESCENT STATE.
