Abstract COOLING OF THE NECK PORTION OF A PLASTIC BOTTLE AFTER BLOW MOLDING BY DISCHARING THE BOTTLE FROM THE BLOW MOLD AND IMMEDIATELY INSERTING A CHILLED GAGE INTO THE BOTTLE NECK PORTION SO THAT SUCH PORTION WILL SHRINK ONTO THE GAGE AND HAVE ITS INTERNAL DIAMETER CONFORM TO THE GAGE.
