Abstract
Abstract AN ELECTRO-OPTICAL DEVICE CAPABLE OF SEQUENTIALLY TESTING A PREDETERMINED PLURALITY OF SOLUTIONS FOR PARTICLE PRESENCE AT PRESELECTED INTERVALS. PARTICLE PRESENCE IS INDICATED BY DEVELOPING A CURRENT WHEN LIGHT PASSING THROUGH THE SOLUTION UNDER TEST IS SCATTERED BY PARTICLES IN THE SOLUTION. CONTROL FOR THE DEVICE IS PROVIDED BY TIMING CIRCUITRY WHEREIN THE TIMING INTERVALS, AS WELL AS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SAMPLES TOP BE SEQUENTIALLY TESTED, ARE MADE SELECTABLE.
