Abstract
Abstract Highly efficient diffusing light polarizes of a new type are described. The new diffusing light polarizes comprise an oriented suspension of doubly refracting, i.e., birefringent, crystallites of an organic high polymer within an amorphous, noncrystalline, substantially uniaxial, birefringent film of said polymer. These diffusing light polarizes transmit of specular beam and a diffuse beam polarized in the same plane.
