Abstract A NOVEL GARMENT IS PRODUCED BY KNITTING A BODY ENCIRCLING TUBULAR MEMBER HAVING SELECTED ENLARGED AREAS, SLITTING THE TUBULAR MEMBER FROM ONE END TO A POINT PROXIMATE THE ENLARGED AREAS TO DEFINE HALF-COURSES IN THE SEC- TIONS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SLIT AND THEN SEAMING THE TWO SECTIONS ALONG THE SLIT LINE TO DEFINE LIMB ENCIRCULING PORTIONS.
