Abstract DISCLOSED HEREIN IS A PROTECTIVE TUBE FOR A THERMOCOUPLE COMPRISING A NON-METALLIC MAT OF HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT MATERIAL ROLLED TO FORM A TUBE WITH THE MAT IMPREGNATED WITH A SULFATE BINDER SOLUTION AND COATED WITH A THERMO INSULATING MATERIAL.
