Abstract METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING HOLOGRAPHIC INTERFERENCE PATTERNS WHEREIN A MODULATED COHERENT OBJECT BEAM AND AN OFF AXIS REFERENCE BEAM COOPERATE TO DISCHARGE A PHOTOCONDUCTIVE THERMOPLASTIC RECORDING MEMBER WHICH IS THEN RECHARGED AND ALLOWED TO DEFORM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RESIDUAL CHARGE PATTERN THEREON.
