Abstract TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF AQUEOUS EMULSION COPOLYMERIZATION OF VINYL ESTERS IS ACHIEVED BY REFLUXING LIQUIDS SUCH AS ETHANE, PROPANE AND FREONS FROM THE REACTION MIXTURE AND APPLYING EXTERNAL COOLING. THE LIQUID MAY BE BLED OR VENTED FROM THE SYSTEM IF REACTION CONDITIONS WARRANT.
