Abstract A NEW READY-TO-EAT FLAKED BREAKFAST CEREAL AND PROCESS FOR MAKING IT. KERNELS OF GRAIN ARE EXPLOSIVELY PUFFED TO GELATINIZE THE STARCH, AND THEN MILLED INTO FLOUR. THE FLOUR IS MIXED WITH WATER AND ONE OR MORE FLAVORING INGREDIENTS TO FORM A DOUGH WHICH IS FORMED INTO PELLETS WHICH ARE FLAKED AND TOASTED.
