Abstract A DETACHABLE CHAIN FOR TRANSMITTING POWER BETWEEN TOOTHED SPROCKETS. THE CHAIN HAS APERTURED LINKS WHICH ASSEMBLED WITH OVERLAPPING END PORTIONS, EACH HAVING PROJECTING EDGE PORTIONS IN ROLLING BEARING CONTACT WITH LIKE PORTIONS OF ADJACENT LINKS. THE LINKS ARE DETACHABLY INTERCONNECTED BY SPRING CLIP MEMBERS WHICH ENGAGE THE TEETH OF DRIVE SPROCKETS.
