Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO APPARATUS ADAPTED TO FORCE THE WATER DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF A FISHING HOLE TO PREVENT THE SAME FROM FREEZING UP WHEN NOT IN USE AND THIS INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO THE METHOD OF KEEPING THE FISHING HOLE FREE OF ICE BY MAINTAINING AIR PRESSURE THEREIN WHEN NOT IN USE.
