Abstract
Abstract IN A MOBILE TELEPHONE SYSTEM, ALL IDLE CHANNELS ARE MARKED, AND EACH MOBILE STATION LINES UP ON ANY IDLE MARKED CHANNEL. CALLED NUMBER CODES ARE SENT SIMULTANEOUSLY OVER ALL IDLE CHANNELS. ANY MOBILE RECOGNIZING ITS CODE RETURNS AN ANSWER TONE, AND THE IDLE MARKING TONE IS REMOVED. WHEN THE TONE DISAPPEARS, ALL MOBILES ON THAT CHANNEL MOVE OFF IN SEARCH OF ANOTHER IDLE MARKING. THE MOBILE STATION INCLUDES A PAYSTATION.
