Abstract
Abstract A firing unit for a controlled rectifier produces a firing pulse in response to equality of a DC error voltage and a voltage which is the integral of the rectifier input waveform; the integrated voltage is reset each cycle and its prereset value clamped at a constant level. Means for producing the error voltage may also use integration of the output current in the rectifier load.
