Abstract A LUMINESCENT COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE SCREEN IS PRODUCED BY CATAPHORETICALLY DEPOSITING TWO OR MORE PHOSPHOR LAYERS ONTO INTERVENING TRANSPARENT ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE LAYERS ON A TRANSPARENT BASE. ACCURATE PHOSPHOR LAYER THICKNESS CONTROLL IS ENABLED BY CONTROLLIN THE CATAPHORETIC DEPOSITION PARAMETERS, SUCH AS FIELD STRENGHTH, TIME AND SOLUTION CONCENTRATION.
