Abstract ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION APPARATUS EMPLOYING A PUMP FOR CIRCULATING ABSORBENT SOLUTION WHICH IS AT A TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE NEAR ITS FLASH POINT IN WHICH A HEAT EXCHANGER IS PROVIDED TO REDUCE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE SOLUTION PRIOR TO ITS FLOW TO THE PUMP THUS PREVENTING FLASHING OF THE SOLUTION AS THE PRESSURE IS REDUCED AT THE INLET OF THE PUMP.
