Abstract
Abstract A NOZZLE RING FOR AN EXPANSION TURBINE COMPRISES TWO FLAT RINGS WITH AN ANNULAR DISK SANDICHED BETWEEN THEM. THE DISK IS FORMED WITH INWARDLY OPENING TANGENTIAL NOTCHES WHICH FORM PASSAGES WITH CONFRONTING FLANKS OF THE RINGS. A SECTORAL CHANNEL FORM IN ONE OF THE RINGS ACTS AS A MANIFOLD TO SUPPLY COMPRESSED GAS TO THE PASSAGES SUBTENDED THEREBY.
