Abstract
Abstract THE INVENTION CONSISTS OF APPARATUS FOR MEASURING THE AVERAGE WIND DIRECTION COMPRISING AN INPUT SYNCHRO TRANSMITTER COUPLED TO A WIND VANE FOR PRODUCING COMPONENT SIGNALS REPRESENTING THE INSTANTANEOUS POSITION OF THE VANE. THESE SIGNALS ARE DETECTED, INTEGRATED AND APPLIED TO AN OUTPUT SYNCHRO THE SHAFT OF WHICH IS POSI- TIONED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMBINED INTEGRATED SIGNALS FROM THE SYNCHRO TRANSMITTER.
