Abstract
Abstract Oil and particles are removed from crankcase gases in an internal combustion engine with closed crankcase ventilation using a centrifugal filter (7). The crankshaft drives a number of auxiliary devices via a belt circuit that includes the filter belt wheel (5) as the braking roll for driving the filter.
