Abstract
Abstract Through a secondary air feed inlet and the shape of the hearth chamber which counteracts cooling above the floating bed. The exhaust gas temp. is increased to a high level at which carbonhydrates and dioxins are decomposed. By mixture of the smoke gases using a constriction with an air inlet the high temp. for decomposition is upheld for the requisite time. Then the smoke gas current is cooled by input of cooler such gases and/or air through an inlet. The gas current is then transferred to succeeding convection and/or overheating surfaces.
