Abstract
Abstract Method for the acquisition - via a terminal 2 and a control system 7 - of a right to a facility, such as an access or usage right, with the aid of a registration device SC, such as a smart card. The smart card is not only used to pay for the required facility, but also serves as a registration and validation means, to replace 'paper' tickets. Thus, the same smart card can be used for the purchase of the (right to) a future facility, for the payment thereof and for the (subsequent) use of the facilities (the exercise of the purchased right). <IMAGE>
