Abstract
Abstract The adjustable bed is particularly for hospital use and comprises a frame and a lying surface of hinging components. One or more of these are movable in relation to the frame by a remote-controlled motor. The hand-operated control box (15) is near one end and above the lying surface (8). Where the frame is on wheels, the control box can be mounted on a bracket (16-18) joined to the frame.
