Abstract
Abstract Aromatic polycarbonates are stabilised with phosphorous acid (H3PO3), pref. used in an amt. of 0.0001-0.04 pts.wt., esp. 0.0003-0.01 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. polycarbonate. Pref. the H3PO3 is added in the form of a 1-75% aq. soln. to ensure uniform distribution in the polycarbonate.
