Abstract
Abstract The mast-top mounted sail with side vanes, has a tendency to lift the craft slightly, reducing water resistance. The sail board (2) is fitted with a standard sail and mast (3). The mast top supports a sail wing (1) with two side vanes. The wing is supported by springs (4) or rubber rods. Another application may include fitting sail wings to a boat with two masts.
