Abstract
Abstract The analogue signal produced by a transducer attached to the speedometer cable is converted to digital form and fed to a microprocessor circuit. The microprocessor has three outputs: one which drives the three-digit speed indicators in both the front and rear indicator panels; and two which drive the 'accelerating/decelerating' indicator lamps. The lamps can be in the form of red and green arrows or puls and minus signs.
