A small plate (4) is fixed to the free pin end, and its dimensions and that of the plate are such that the hammer can be removed by moving along pin and plate. The hammer can be rectangular, its length being > its width, and when new the hole can be at its centre of gravity. The pin can be tapered, with the thinner end fixed to the arm, which can hinge freely on the rotary body.
