Abstract Appts. has (a) a first tube having >=2 longitudinal incisions at one end; (b) a second tube having a greater internal dia. than (a) and fastened to the other end of it; (c) a third tube capable of sliding over (a), the difference between the lengths of (a) and the total length of the (b) + (c) > the length of the incisions in the end of (a) and (d) a round rod having a smaller external dia. than (a) so that it can slide inside it. The tubes may be made of cheap, disposable material esp. plastics pref. PVC.
