Abstract
Abstract Plastic containers are produced by (a) extruding hot thermoplastic material in the form of a tube, (b) enclosing the tube sectionwise by mould components, (c) blow moulding the tube sections, and (d) recycling the waste material from the tube sections and moulded containers to the extruder directly after it is formed and while it is still in a warm state. The production costs are lowered as the waste material is recycle directly without cooling and drying operations. Contamination of the waste material is also avoided.
