Abstract
Abstract The child seat (12) is attached (4) to the normal permanent rear seat assembly (1). Unlike conventional child seats, the frame of the present seat has a downward protrusion (13) at the front of the seat (8). The protrusion digs into the fitted seat by some 20 to 50 mm (A). In the event of a crash or other rapid deceleration, the protrusion limits forward tilt movement of the child seat.
