Diathermic loop provided with electrically conductive cutting wire

Abstract

Abstract An electrically insulating body is connected to the cutting wire, and is provided with first and second projecting components. Between these two components the cutting wire is tensioned. The body is provided with a side surface of flat or somewhat oval cross-section between the first and second projecting components. The cutting wire extends along the side surface. The cutting wire by the first extending component is at a distance of 5-7 mm from the side surface and by the second extending component is at a distance of 2-4 mm from the side surface. The body between the first and second extending components is produced at least partly from transparent and optically magnifying material.
