Hydraulic controller for power steering
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To control the steering assisting torque in a wide range by controlling the variable throttles in the fourth system, in a hydraulic control device equipped with a hydraulic bridge circuit in which four flow passages are connected in annular form. CONSTITUTION:As for a hydraulic bridge circuit 12, flow passages L1-L4 are connected in an annular form, and the connection points CA1 and CA2 on one diagonal line are connected with a hydraulic pump 10 and a reservoir tank 11, respectively, and the other connection points are connected with the right and left hydraulic chambers 13R and 13L. Int he flow passage L1 and L2, the throttles 1R, 1L, 2R, and 2L in the first and second systems are interposed, and in the flow passages L3 and L4, the throttles 3R and 3L in the third system are interposed, and further, in the bypass passages L5 and L6, the variable throttles 4L and 4R in the fourth system are interposed. The variable throttles 4L and 4R in the fourth system are controlled by a control unit U on the basis of the signals supplied from a car speed sensor 16 and a steering angle sensor 17.
