High-voltage power source connecting structure for electrostatic charging device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To curtail the number of parts, to miniaturize the titled device and to reduct its cost by providing a conductive coil spring which applies prescribed tension to a charger wire, and also, brought into direct contact with an output terminal and connected electrically. CONSTITUTION:When the upper side unit in a copying device is closed, an output terminal 15 in a high voltage power source part 12 descends, and when it is fitted to an insulating case 18, a coil spring 24 is bent by its load and pressed against the output terminal 15, and the output terminal 15 and the coil spring 24 become an electrically conductive state. Also, the coil spring 24 applies the optimum tension to a tungsten wire 21 in a stretched state by the load. Accordingly, the tension application to a charger wire 21, and electrical conduction between the output terminal 15 and the charger wire 21 can be executed by only one parts of the coil spring 24. In such a way, the number of parts can be reduced, the device can be miniaturized and the cost can be reduced.
