Production of one-chip microcomputer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce capacity load to be applied to an input signal, to remove useless power consumption and to shorten the transmission delay time of a signal by interrupting power supply to unused function blocks in accordance with the contents of a program stored in a ROM. CONSTITUTION:When blocks F2, F4 are applicable to function blocks not to be used at the time of execution in accordance with the contents of the program stored in the ROM, a power supply means (a wiring layer) to the blocks F2, F4 is not formed at the time of producing an one-chip microcomputer. In order to prevent the generation of interference with the operation of another function block because the contents of a signal outputted from the function block are unfixed, a contact is formed together with a contact forming process for the contents of the program in the ROM and the output signal is fixed on a level previously regulated on the operation of the one-chip microcomputer.
